Too general to help. Save your money; you really don’t need this book.
I am new to dSLR cameras and was looking for a book that would get me beyond the point and shoot world I had been living in for so many years.

Not bad
The “Quick Snap Guide…” is a very fine reference tool for using the new SLR cameras. I am waiting to receive my camera and have been able to puruse the book at my leasure.
